News of Knowshon Moreno’s status broke late Saturday night after team officials deemed it necessary that he plays. With the situation at other key parts of the organization in deep disfunctionality, Moreno needs to be solid. Kyle Orton can’t play QB to begin with, but with his injury, the good Bengals pass defense wont need any help containing the Bronco’s air assault; leaving more focus on the Denver running game.
Primetime sleeper James Davis has been ruled Questionable following a single-passenger car accident Saturday. Sources close to the Browns are optimistic Davis will be just fine, deeming his injuries “a concern, but nothing major.” We believe this means a few more carries for Jamal Lewis but not enough to make him a considerable option against a tough Vikings Defense.
According to the Denver Post, Bronco’s top wide out Brandon Marshall will play on a limited basis on Sunday against the Bengals. It remains uncertain how big of a role Marshall will play, but he is expected to be on the field.
